Welcome to the Stark County High School website! Our school is host to roughly 300 students, who are continually supported by involved parents, a dedicated staff and an active community. Stark County has a teaching faculty of 26, in addition to a social worker, guidance counselor, psychologist, curriculum coordinator, Director of student services and a nurse. We are fortunate in being able to provide our students the same resources ordinarily offered in larger school districts, but in a tight-knit environment. SCHS boasts a very rigorous curriculum that offers a number of courses, including dual credit courses at Black Hawk Community College and college-level courses on our campus. We also provide apprenticeships with local businesses to encourage students to take advantage of professional learning opportunities.
With a focus on high academic expectations integrating the Common Core State Standards, we feel very fortunate in being able to offer a wide range of strong academics along with diverse extracurricular activities that offer a balanced approach in developing the students’ potential. Stark County High School is an excellent school with a staff dedicated to helping every student succeed to the best of their ability. Enjoy your visit!
