Looking Ahead & REMINDERS:

May 16 – Track Banquet @ 6:00pm

May 21 – Free Sports Physicals Clinic

May 23 – Last day of school/End of 2nd Semester & 8th grade promotion practice

May 25 – 8th Grade Promotion @ 7:00pm

May 27 – High School Graduation


Lunch today: Chili crispitos, chips & salsa, refried beans, lettuce, fresh fruit & veggies

Tomorrow lunch: funnel cake & chicken


Track news – There will be a track awards banquet this Wednesday at 6pm. All track participants are encouraged to come and enjoy a night of food and fun. You will also get to witness Coach Lowery dyeing his beard!


There will be a cross country meeting next Tuesday May 22nd at 7pm in the cafeteria for high school and junior high students interested in cross country next year.  If you cannot attend but are interested, notify the office and they will contact Coach Rennick.


Chorus News – Any 8th grader or HS student interested in auditioning for next year’s HONORS CHOIR, see Mrs. Roark for music & information. Auditions will be next week. She will practice with interested students during 8th hour Thursday and Friday!


Sports Camp – Please return signup forms for the Sports Camp to the office by Friday.  If anyone needs a form please stop in the office to pick one up.


Awards Ceremony – today at 8:30


Library News – All library books/lost book fees need to be turned in by May 21st. Also, the last day to take a Reading Counts quiz will be May 21st. 


Free Sports Physical Clinic – Any 6th or 7th graders interested in playing a sport next year – Mon., May 21, right after school.   The sports physical forms are in your registration packet (pg.10 Pre Participation Examination).  Must be filled out and signed before they can do the free physical. Sorry, no appointments, it’s a “wait in line” free physical


Registration Packets – Please start bringing your packets back and turn them into the office.

Turn in lunch money after announcements.   May menus are available in the office.
