Students —

Make sure to check out the large lost and found that is right before the Cafeteria door as you are going into the lunch room and in the lockers in the cafeteria.

 

Please bring water bottles to use throughout the day.

March 22 – PJS Spelling Bee.  It will air on Saturday March 23rd.

March 25 – 29 – Spring Break

April 1 – School Resumes

April 2 – High School Musical Pre View with JH & Elem. students at the HS

April10 – 12 – PARCC / IAR State Testing for all JH students

April 18 – Full Day of Attendance

May 31 – Last day of Student Attendance

ANNOUNCEMENTS:    A Day

 

The JH Parents Club started our annual Butter Braids fundraiser. Students are encouraged to start selling immediately. Money and orders are due Monday, April 1st. The Butter Braids will be delivered on Thursday, April 11th, just in time for Easter.

 

Music Students – Congratulations to our JH musicians!  Forty-seven 6,7 & 8 graders participated in 51 events at solo/ensemble contest on Friday!  They received 44 “ONE” (superior) ratings and 7 “TWO” (excellent) ratings! **Reminder to band students to bring your instruments back tomorrow for rehearsal!

 

7/8 chorus members will be attending a festival in Galva Thursday afternoon.  They will be released at 12:15 to eat lunch.

Turn in your money for the music festival meal as soon as possible.

 

Scholastic Bowl Practice – Monday, Wednesday, Friday – Before school practice

Tuesday, Thursday – After school practice

 

T-shirt orders forms – in the office for Track, Baseball, Softball. Due back today

 

Science Olympiad –Turn in your Participant Release form for the State Tournament by Friday. Pick one up from Mr. Wagner if you did not get one already

Game On, Meteorology, Mystery Architecture, and Water Quality events will practice during 8th period today.  Crime Busters will practice after school today

 

 

Friday, March 22 Alumni Hall of Fame Assembly10:07 am on Friday, March 22nd.

The Stark County Alumni Hall of Fame will hold its 2nd annual award presentation in a new format this year.  Committee will then announce the 2019 award winner.
