Please brighten a child’s day by “Donating a Bear”!  There is a box outside the office for you to drop off new (with tags still on) stuffed animals to the Children’s Hospital of Peoria.  Taking donations until February 8.  The stuffed animals will be handed out to children on Valentine’s Day!

 

There are sign-up sheets in the cafeteria for HS boys and girls track, softball and baseball

 

Any girl interested in going out for track.  There will be a meeting Thursday during 8th hour in the cafeteria.

 

Weather got you down? Italy & Greece Enrollment Deadline is Feb. 15. It is not too late to join us! See Mr. Krabill in Room 108 for more information.

 

Science Olympiad Game On, Meteorology, Mystery Architecture, & Water Quality events will practice only the first half of 8th period while Mr. Curry is present.  Students practicing are expected to return to their study hall after Mr. Curry leaves.

Mr. Wagner will return by 3 pm, so Crime Busters will practice after school today.

 

FCCLA meeting scheduled for 8th hour on Tuesday February 5th.  If you are unable to attend, please swing by Room 107 to sign up for various upcoming events.

 

There will be a sophomore class ring meeting with Josten’s Wednesday 8th hour in the cafeteria

 

A big congratulations to Jacob Reay for placing 6th in impromptu, Zach Sparks for placing 7th in informative speaking, Heather Heuermann for placing 7th in special occasion speaking and Elena Haffner for placing 4th in Radio speaking at the speech regional competition. Make sure to wish Elena good luck as she will be moving on in the state series to compete this Saturday at Normal West.
